Aretha Printing provides printing and related services to customers across India. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders are packed, dispatched and delivered.
1. Delivery Coverage
We provide delivery to serviceable locations across India through suitable courier, transport and logistics providers.
Delivery availability, charges and timelines may vary depending on:
-
Delivery location
-
Shipment weight and dimensions
-
Product type
-
Quantity
-
Urgency
-
Courier or transport availability
-
Special handling requirements
For large or bulk orders, we may use surface transport or other suitable freight arrangements instead of standard parcel courier services.
2. Shipping Charges
Shipping or delivery charges are generally calculated separately unless expressly included in the quotation.
Charges may depend on:
-
Shipment weight
-
Volumetric weight
-
Number of packages
-
Delivery location
-
Courier or transport mode
-
Urgency
-
Insurance or special handling, where applicable
The applicable delivery charge will normally be communicated before order confirmation or dispatch.
3. Production Time and Delivery Time
Production time and delivery time are separate.
Production time is the time required to print, finish, bind, pack or otherwise prepare an order after all required artwork, approvals, specifications and payments have been received.
Delivery time is the estimated transit time after the completed order has been handed over to the courier or transport provider.
The overall timeline therefore depends on both production and delivery.
4. Estimated Dispatch
Estimated dispatch dates may be communicated during quotation or order confirmation.
Dispatch estimates depend on:
-
Final artwork approval
-
Receipt of required payment
-
Material availability
-
Quantity
-
Printing process
-
Finishing requirements
-
Production workload
-
Packaging requirements
If the customer delays artwork approval, payment, specifications or other required information, the dispatch date may change accordingly.
5. Estimated Delivery
Courier and transport delivery times are estimates and may vary according to destination and logistics conditions.
We make reasonable efforts to select suitable delivery services but cannot guarantee delivery dates controlled by third-party courier or transport providers unless a specific delivery commitment has been separately agreed.
Customers with a fixed event date or critical deadline should inform us before confirming the order.
6. Urgent Orders
Urgent production or expedited delivery may be possible for certain orders depending on capacity, location and logistics availability.
Additional production, courier or transport charges may apply.
Urgent delivery should not be assumed unless expressly confirmed by Aretha Printing.
7. Packaging
We take reasonable care to package printed products appropriately for transport.
Packaging may vary depending on the nature of the products and may include:
-
Corrugated cartons
-
Protective wrapping
-
Inner packaging
-
Bundling
-
Rigid support
-
Other appropriate protective material
Large or unusually heavy orders may be packed in multiple boxes to reduce the risk of damage during handling and transportation.
8. Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, including:
-
Recipient name
-
Company or organisation name, where applicable
-
Complete postal address
-
PIN code
-
Mobile or telephone number
-
Any delivery instructions reasonably required
Aretha Printing is not responsible for delivery delays or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
9. Re-Delivery and Undelivered Shipments
If delivery cannot be completed because:
-
The recipient is unavailable
-
The address is incorrect
-
The recipient refuses delivery
-
Required contact information is incorrect
-
The courier cannot access the delivery location
the courier or transport provider may attempt re-delivery, hold the shipment at a facility or return it.
Any additional courier, return or re-dispatch costs arising from circumstances attributable to the customer may be charged to the customer.
10. Tracking
Where tracking is available, tracking details may be shared with the customer after dispatch.
Tracking information is provided by the relevant courier or logistics company and may occasionally take time to update after pickup.
For certain local, bulk or transport-based deliveries, conventional online parcel tracking may not be available.
11. Transit Delays
Delivery may occasionally be delayed due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
-
Weather
-
Traffic disruption
-
Transport strikes
-
Courier capacity
-
Remote delivery locations
-
Government restrictions
-
Public holidays
-
Operational disruptions
-
Natural disasters
-
Other unforeseen logistics events
We will make reasonable efforts to assist in following up with the delivery provider where a shipment is materially delayed.
12. Transit Damage
Customers should inspect packages promptly after delivery.
If the shipment appears significantly damaged, please retain:
-
The outer packaging
-
Shipping label
-
Inner packaging
-
Damaged products
and contact us promptly with photographs or video showing the condition of the package and products.
This information may be required to investigate the matter with the courier or transport provider.
Confirmed damage issues will be handled in accordance with our Returns, Replacements & Refund Policy.
13. Missing Packages or Items
If a shipment is shown as delivered but has not been received, or if part of an order is missing, please contact us promptly.
We will review available dispatch records and coordinate with the relevant logistics provider where appropriate.
For multi-box shipments, individual packages may occasionally arrive separately.
14. Inspection at Delivery
For large, fragile or high-value shipments, customers are encouraged to inspect the external condition of the packages at the time of delivery where reasonably possible.
If serious visible damage is present, photographs should be taken before opening the package.
15. Multiple Delivery Locations
Orders requiring delivery to multiple addresses must be agreed in advance.
Additional:
-
Packing
-
Handling
-
Labelling
-
Sorting
-
Courier
-
Transport
charges may apply.
Customers should provide complete address and recipient information for each destination.
16. Bulk and Commercial Shipments
Large commercial printing orders may be shipped through surface transport, cargo, commercial courier or other suitable logistics providers.
Such shipments may have different transit times, tracking systems and delivery procedures from standard parcel couriers.
The appropriate mode will generally be selected based on the size, weight, destination, urgency and cost of the shipment.
17. Customer-Arranged Pickup or Transport
Where agreed, customers may arrange their own courier, transporter or pickup from a designated location.
Once goods are handed over to a customer-appointed carrier, responsibility for transportation generally passes to the customer-appointed logistics provider, subject to applicable law and any specific written agreement.
18. International Shipping
Unless specifically agreed in writing, the website and standard quotations should not be interpreted as offering international shipping.
International enquiries may be considered separately depending on the product, destination, documentation and logistics requirements.
19. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Shipping & Delivery Policy periodically to reflect changes in our logistics arrangements, services or business practices.
The latest version will be published on this page with the revised Last Updated date.
