Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 31 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of www.arethaprinting.com and printing, design, finishing, packaging, delivery and related services provided by Aretha Printing, registered as ARETHA ("Aretha Printing", "we", "us" or "our").
By requesting a quotation, approving an order, issuing a purchase order, making payment, approving artwork or otherwise instructing us to proceed with work, the customer agrees to the applicable quotation, specifications and these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Aretha Printing
Aretha Printing provides customised printing services primarily for businesses, companies, institutions, government organisations, schools, hospitals, hospitality businesses, agencies, publishers, startups, SMEs and other organisations.
Our services may include digital printing, offset printing, photo printing, binding, finishing, lamination, packaging and related printing services depending on the requirements of the order.
2. Quotations
Prices displayed or discussed on the website are indicative unless specifically stated otherwise.
Final pricing depends on factors including:
-

-
Number of colours
-
Printing process
-
Artwork
-

-

-
Other order-specific requirements
A quotation is based on the specifications provided by the customer at the time the quotation is issued.
Any change in specifications may result in a revised price and delivery schedule.
Unless otherwise stated in the quotation, quotations may be revised if there is a material change in paper, material, transport, taxation or other input costs before the order is confirmed.
3. Order Confirmation
An enquiry or quotation request does not constitute a confirmed order.
An order may be treated as confirmed when the customer completes the confirmation requirements communicated by Aretha Printing. These may include one or more of the following:
-
Written approval of the quotation
-
Purchase order
-
Advance payment
-
Full payment
-
Artwork approval
-
Final specification approval
-
Other mutually agreed confirmation
Production schedules are normally calculated from the point at which all information, artwork, approvals and payments required to begin production have been received.
4. Prices and Taxes
Prices will be quoted in Indian Rupees unless otherwise stated.
Applicable GST, taxes, delivery charges or other charges may be added as specified in the quotation or invoice.
Customers requiring GST invoices should provide correct GST and billing details before invoicing.
Aretha Printing is not responsible for incorrect invoices resulting from incorrect information supplied by the customer.
5. Payment Terms
Payment terms may vary according to the customer, order value, product, quantity and production requirements.
The applicable payment terms will be communicated in the quotation, invoice, purchase order acceptance or other written communication.
We may require:
-
Full payment in advance
-
Partial advance with balance before dispatch
-
Partial advance with balance according to agreed milestones
-
Other mutually agreed credit terms
Production or dispatch may be withheld until payments due under the agreed terms have been received.
6. Artwork Supplied by Customers
Customers are responsible for ensuring that artwork and files supplied for printing are correct and suitable for their intended purpose.
This includes checking:
-
Text and spelling
-
Names and contact information
-
Dates
-
Numbers
-
Images
-
Logos
-
Page sequence
-
Dimensions
-
Bleed and margins
-

-

-

-
Other content or specifications
Aretha Printing may identify apparent artwork issues as a customer service measure, but we are not responsible for detecting every error in customer-supplied files.
Once artwork has been approved or confirmed for production, errors contained in that artwork are the customer's responsibility.
7. Proofs and Approvals
Where appropriate, Aretha Printing may provide a digital proof, artwork preview, sample or other approval document before production.
Customers should carefully check all aspects of the proof before approving it.
Approval by email, WhatsApp, electronic communication or other agreed means may be treated as authorisation to proceed with production.
Changes requested after approval may result in additional charges and changes to the delivery schedule.
For certain straightforward repeat orders or customer-ready print files, production may proceed without a separate proof where this has been agreed or is reasonably understood from the order instructions.
8. Colour Reproduction
Printed colours may vary from colours displayed on computer monitors, mobile phones and other digital screens.
Colour appearance may also vary according to:
-
Paper or substrate
-
Printing process
-
Ink or toner
-
Lamination
-
Surface coating
-
Lighting conditions
-
RGB-to-CMYK conversion
-
Different printing machines
-
Different production batches
Reasonable colour variation is a normal characteristic of commercial printing and is not considered a defect.
Customers requiring particularly accurate brand colours should inform Aretha Printing before production and provide appropriate colour references where available.
9. Paper and Material
Paper and material descriptions, GSM specifications and finishes are based on supplier and industry classifications.
There may be minor variations in shade, texture, stiffness, thickness or finish between different manufacturing batches.
Where a specified brand or material becomes unavailable, we will normally discuss an appropriate alternative with the customer before substitution where the difference is material to the order.
10. Commercial Printing Tolerances
Commercial printing and finishing processes may involve reasonable production tolerances.
Small variations may occur in:
-
Cutting
-
Folding
-
Binding
-
Creasing
-
Perforation
-
Registration
-
Positioning
-
Finished dimensions
-
Colour
-
Lamination
-
Quantity
Minor variations within normal commercial printing tolerances are not considered defects.
Customers requiring unusually precise tolerances should communicate those requirements before the order is confirmed.
11. Quantity Variations
For certain commercial printing processes, especially larger offset or specialised production runs, the final quantity may occasionally vary slightly from the quantity ordered because of normal production requirements, setup, spoilage or finishing processes.
Where quantity accuracy is particularly critical, the customer should communicate this before confirming the order.
Where applicable, any material quantity variation will be handled according to the agreed quotation or production terms.
12. Design, Typesetting and Artwork Services
Where Aretha Printing provides design, typesetting, artwork correction, image preparation, layout or other creative services, additional charges may apply.
Unless specifically agreed otherwise, charges for completed design or artwork work remain payable even if the customer subsequently decides not to proceed with printing.
The number of revisions included, if any, may be specified in the quotation.
Substantial changes beyond the agreed scope may be charged separately.
13. Intellectual Property and Customer Content
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have the legal right and authority to reproduce all material supplied to Aretha Printing.
This includes:
-
Logos
-
Photographs
-
Illustrations
-
Artwork
-
Trademarks
-
Copyrighted material
-
Personal information
-
Documents
-
Designs
-
Written content
By supplying material for printing, the customer confirms that Aretha Printing is authorised to reproduce that material for the purpose of fulfilling the order.
Aretha Printing may refuse work that we reasonably believe is unlawful, infringes third-party rights or is otherwise inappropriate for production.
14. Confidential and Business-Sensitive Material
We understand that corporate printing may involve proprietary, confidential or commercially sensitive documents.
We take reasonable care in handling customer files and use them for purposes connected with quotation, production, quality checking, delivery, repeat-order support and related services.
Customers with particularly confidential or security-sensitive material should communicate any special handling requirements before providing the files.
15. Production Partners and Outsourcing
Depending on the printing process, quantity, material, finishing requirement or location, Aretha Printing may use suitable production, finishing, binding, packaging, courier or other service partners to fulfil an order.
This enables us to provide a wider range of commercial printing services.
Where customer artwork or information must be provided to a production partner, only information reasonably required to complete the work should be shared.
16. Production and Delivery Timelines
Production and delivery timelines provided by Aretha Printing are estimates unless a specific commitment has been expressly agreed in writing.

Any claim concerning a significant printing defect, incorrect product, missing quantity or transit damage should be reported as soon as reasonably possible with:
-
Order or invoice details
-
Description of the issue
-
Clear photographs or video where applicable
This enables us to investigate the issue and determine an appropriate resolution.
19. Cancellations, Replacements and Refunds
Cancellations, replacements, reprints and refunds are governed by our Returns, Replacements & Refund Policy.
Because most products supplied by Aretha Printing are customised, completed correctly produced orders generally cannot be returned or cancelled simply because the customer changes their mind.
Customers should review the Returns, Replacements & Refund Policy before confirming an order.
20. Customer Delays
If production is delayed because the customer has not supplied required artwork, approvals, information, payment or other instructions, the estimated completion date may change accordingly.
Aretha Printing is not responsible for deadlines missed as a result of delays attributable to the customer.
21. Storage of Completed Orders
Where a completed order cannot be dispatched or collected because of circumstances attributable to the customer, we may hold the order for a reasonable period.
Additional storage, handling or re-delivery charges may apply where significant costs are incurred.
22. Repeat Orders
Customers placing repeat orders should confirm the required specifications.
Although we may retain previous order information or files for convenience, customers should not assume that previous materials, paper, colours or production conditions will remain identical indefinitely.
Reasonable variations may occur between different production batches or repeat orders.

Where Aretha Printing is responsible for a confirmed production error, our responsibility will generally be limited, as appropriate to the circumstances, to correction, replacement, reprinting, partial refund or refund of the affected work.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict liability where such exclusion or restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
